Robert Paul Armstrong Jr.

"To know him is to love him." Robert Paul Armstrong, Jr. 73, departed this life too early, on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in the presence of his beloved partner, Pamela Jaworski at Sentara Regional Medical Center. Robert, affectionately known as "Bobby A" or "Armstrong", along with his twin sister, attended Southern Illinois University from where he graduated. He was an established CPA and dedicated over 40 years as a Comptroller for Patriot Buick GMC of Williamsburg. He was adored by his co-workers and he adored them as well. As an avid and accomplished golfer, it afforded him friendships that he would cherish forever. Those friendships included The Sunday Group of Kingsmill along with the Harrops Glen Families (from living on the 6th hole of the River Course). During the LPGA, he would host American professional golfer, Tiffany Joh, and many friends. In addition to traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast to play on the beautiful golf courses within the United States, he decided to travel to Scotland where he also played on another beautiful course. He is survived by his twin sister, Patricia Hart (Wayne); nephews, David Bowen Hart and Paul Armstrong Hart (Elizabeth Cole Hart); and Significant Other, Pamela Jaworski. The family would like to thank the Sentara Care Team of Williamsburg for their Kindness and Efforts. A service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10 AM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185.
