Roger Smith Cunningham

Roger S. Cunningham, 91, of Williamsburg, passed away on December 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman E. Cunningham and Evelyn Smith and his brother, Lyman Cunningham. He served in the Korean War with the United States Army. After earning his four year degree from Ohio University, Roger worked in the marketing department of Upjohn Pharmaceutical. A history lover, he enjoyed volunteering at Colonial Williamsburg for 25 years. He was also a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian and was fond of both woodworking and traveling. Roger is survived by his wife, M. Heidy Cunningham; his sons, Mark D. (Mary Beth) and David S.; and his grandchildren, Alex (Dani), Chloe (Nick) Mansourimoaied, and Katie; and his great-grandchildren, Sadie, Remi, and Leo. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Suplee.
