Mr. Holmes was an awesome man, wise in his statements, jovial in his spirit, and loving in his heart. He will truly be missed. I will always remember his dedication to God, family and his church. My children and grandchildren admired him so much as he took the time to talk to them everytime he saw them. Rest Mr Holmes, Rest in Heavenly Peace.

Mr. Holmes was in the Elks when I joined and my husband joined. He always believed in helping others. Mr. Rainy and those legacy Elks have left a big hole in our Order and community, especially the way they would go around and try to help people. May your family know he was a blessing to others cutting sick brothers hair and always supporting our community people projects. Kirby would always say did send him a Christmas card. He received his 50 year recognition in 2019. Rest in Peace my Brother. PGDR Sara Howard.
