She was born in Cape May, N.J. on March 6, 1956, and was the daughter of Eugene and Sally Bouffard. Sandy attended Churchland High School in Portsmouth, VA and was married in October 13, 1979. She graduated from TNCC and Christopher Newport University with honors and went on to teach at Bassett Elementary School in Hampton, VA where all of the students were her babies.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Robinson, her daughter, Jennifer Joyce Robinson, her son, Jerry Eugene Robinson and his wife, Amber Robinson, and three wonderful grandsons, Stephen Smith, Troy Smith, and Travis Tessenear.
