Sharon Lytton Kojcsich

Sharon Kojcsich, 74, of James City County, passed away on October 5, 2025. Born in Radford, Virginia on March 6, 1951, she was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Lytton; her husband, Steven Kojcsich; her sister, Joyce Lawson; and her brother-in-law, Bobby Lawson.

Sharon grew up attending Fairlawn Baptist Church, and graduated from Dublin High School in 1969. She owned Curves for Women, and during her professional career, she participated in and headed up various fundraisers and community outreach programs.

Sharon and Steve spent as much time at their dream home in the OBX as they could. Sharen loved spoiling her dogs - along with any of the other family dogs present.

Sharon is survived by her son, Jason Poythress and his partner Kristina Kelley; grandchildren, Thomas Poythress and Graeson Poythress; and her mother, Iris Lytton. She is also survived by her pets, Moose, Savannah, Bell Bell, and Spencer.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA.
