His personality was as colorful as his hair and wardrobe, and he loved to express himself through art, tattoos, and music. Through all his hardships, he was always a gentle soul with a huge heart. Animals were drawn to Stephen, and he loved them all, even the ones no one else would, such as Pepe’ the baby skunk. He loved him very much.
Stephen was incredibly social and enjoyed making new friends, and meeting people wherever he went. He lived in the moment, making people smile, laugh, and dance. His loved ones take comfort knowing he finally reached a place of happiness and peace before his passing.
He is survived by his son, Seth Jacob Holdsworth; mother, Michelle Holdsworth; father, Michael Holdsworth Jr.; sisters, Sara Holdsworth, and Samantha Holdsworth; grandparents, Robert and Linda Ratcliffe, Ann Holdsworth and Michael Holdsworth Sr.; aunts, Robin Ratcliffe Warnick (Dan), Cindy Holdsworth Cokley (Ed), Traci Holdsworth Maxwell. Stephen also leaves behind a huge extended family of cousins, great aunts and great uncles; plus a very large restaurant family, and many friends to cherish and share in his memory.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life is planned to be held after quarantine is lifted. Please check the Nelsen Funeral Home website, www.nelsenwilliamsburg.com, for updates and to leave condolences.
