On April 7, 2018, Tanya Renee White, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tanya was born on August 17, 1966 in Roanoke to Lloyd and Betty Weddle. Some of Tanya’s best childhood memories were with her sisters, Tammy and Treana and her summer trips to Camp Holiday Trails. Tanya met her husband, Chuck, at the Virginia School for the Blind in Richmond and they married on May 20, 1989. They lived in Williamsburg and shared many happy memories with Chuck’s 3-seeing eye dogs Tody, Kathleen and Tory, as well as Tanya’s other pet babies. Tanya graduated from Bayside High School and attended community college. Tanya was the owner of Critter sitters. Tanya had a passion for children and had a special place in her heart for Justine, Becky, Lillybeth and Antonio. Tanya leaves many behind who loved her dearly. Tanya had a loving, kind and humble spirit. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Weddle. She is survived by her father, Lloyd Weddle; her husband, Chuck; her sisters Tammy (John) and their two daughters, Becca and Rachel Klemer, and Treana Morris (Scott). Tanya leaves behind numerous family members and friends. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church at 11 am on April 13, 2018.
