In 1984, she graduated from Mercy High School in Philadelphia, PA. One of her classmates Marc, described her as a sweet & shy person. Afterwards, she went to business school and received her diploma in secretarial sciences.
In 1990, Teresa married and settled in New Jersey. She went back to school for Medical Transcription; and worked for over 10 years for various hospitals. Her off time was spent with her friends: Mea, Linda and April. From 2002 to 2011, she lived in Delaware and remarried. After her second divorce, she moved to Virginia with her sister, Linda. Teresa had diabetic and renal issues throughout the last 10 years of her life.
Some of Teresa’s favorite things were actor Randolph Mantooth, playing the lottery, ghost hunting, watching scary movies, and playing practical jokes. She also had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially dogs. Teresa will be greatly missed.

Richard L. Valdes passed away on December 20, 2020. He too lived in Newark DE in 1960's and 1970's. Both siblings were born to Richard and Patricia Valdes.
“Ricky” served in the US Army from 1980-1982 . In the late 1980’s, he moved to Florida where he received training in how to make eyeglasses from his father’s best friend. Ricky later moved in with his grandfather in Miami. He went back to school studying nursing and computer classes. In 1995, he received an Associate of Arts Computer Operations Performance degree.
He worked for the City of Miami for about 14 years in the transportation department. He received his Associates of Arts in Public Administration; BA in Administration & Psychology at FIU; BA in Visual Arts & Applied Arts; and a BA in Visual Arts, Design & Visual Communications.
He enjoyed volunteering at the Florida International Career Service Center and at the Curator’s Voice Arts Projects at Miami International University of Art & Design. In addition, because of his love for Hillary Clinton, he volunteered for the Democratic Party. During his life, he experienced many twists and turns. Toward the end, Ricky discovered his passion for the Arts.
Ricky loved football, especially the Miami Dolphins, BBQ’s, writing, conducting research, poetry and painting. His life journey was one of unimaginable inner strength and tenacity. In Ricky’s memory, contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Associations, American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity International, as these were causes that were dear to his heart.
