Thomas Walter Clarke

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred C. Clarke; mother, Nellie S. Clarke; and his uncle, Tom Smith.

Prior to his retirement, Tom worked for Priester Electrical Supply Company in Arlington, TX and also for the Jamestown/Yorktown Foundation.

He graduated from Frederick Military Academy. Tom enjoyed reading and gardening. He was a good friend to all.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Evans Clarke; his daughter, Sherri L. Clarke; grandchildren, Christian, Halley and Dylan; great-grandchild, Kai; sisters, Elsie West (Doug) and Judy Martin (Ray); niece, Anita Hadad (Vinnie); nephews, Glenn West (Amy), Steve Martin (Julie), Jeff Burdick and Chris Burdick; and sister-in-law, Pat Burdick (Ken).

A memorial service will take place on Friday, February 23 at Lebanon Christian Church, 409 Yorktown Rd, Newport News, Virginia at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Peninsula Memorial Park, 12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, Virginia following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060 or to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
