Tyler I remember the tears we shared together. I did not know then that I would shed them again for you now. You died too soon. You were a loving big brother to my niece Danielle. May God bless you for that. Rest in Peace now.

I only met Tyler twice though my nephew Monte Moore. He came to Maryland to our family reunion and then when I came to Williamsbugh, we went out for lunch. I am praying for the family. I just want you to know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

To Kim it deeply saddens me with the loss of your son. Take comfort in knowing that God is with him as he also is with you and the family in your time of loss. May he RIP. Love you

To my nephew Tyler,

It is with the deepest sadness that I wish your spirit a safe journey to God's Grace.  Seek out your Uncle James who I know you loved fiercely, as only a little boy may love.  He certainly loved you, as do I.   I cannot begin to express how proud I am of the man you became.  It is not given to any of us to know what lies beyond this world, but I believe you will find a better place; your own grace will guide you there.  I regret that I cannot say goodbye to you in person but if I could be at your service I would recite for you the same poem by William Yeats that I recited for my brother at his passing, "The Stolen Child".  It is fitting, I think, in more ways than one but, above all, it is a tragic loss that your light should be stolen from this earth. May God forgive such trespass against you, for I cannot.

Your Uncle Jerry
