Virginia P. Vines

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Thomas Vines.

Virginia worked for Colonial Williamsburg Lodge as a pantry cook, where she retired after 30 years of service. She was an active member of Parish Hill Baptist Church, until her health failed later in life. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, cooking, as well as dressing. Virginia also enjoyed laughing with friends and family and having fun.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Brooks and Wil Vines; stepson, William Jones; daughter, Felecia Dunn; grandchildren, Nathaniel Brooks, Candy Brooks, Charnese Flowers, DAndre’ Flowers, Charles Brooks, Jr, Chuck Vines, and Christian Miller; and along with a host of great-grandkids and relatives.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20 from 6-8pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Va. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 21 at 2pm, at Parish Hill Baptist Church, Charles City, VA 23030.
