William "Dave" David Culp Sr.

Born in Newport News, VA on November 25, 1948, he was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Oscar Culp; mother, Ruth Cox Culp; and brothers, Michael and Kevin Culp.

Dave completed his undergraduate studies at Elon University. After serving in the Navy, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate The Collector’s Shop since 1972.

He enjoyed golf, fishing, the beach, cars, and precious gems and metals. He loved being with his family and close friends, especially traveling the world with them.

Dave is survived by his wife, Eileen Reynolds Culp; son, William David Culp, Jr. (Sydney Anne Fitzhugh Culp); daughter, Courtney Culp Miller (Thomas Maxwell Miller); grandchildren, Dorothy Reynolds Miller, Tallulah Elizabeth Miller, William David Culp, III, and Kajsa Malin Culp; and his brother, Mark Simpson Culp and his wife Gina.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on September 25, 2026 at the Bruton Parish Episcopal Church, 201 W Duke of Gloucester St, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
