Carl was born on February 3, 1945 in Locke Township to Curtis and Nina Baughan. He graduated from Webberville High School in 1965, was an active member on the family farm, and worked for General Motors, retiring in 2008. Carl honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; inducted into service May of 1967 and returned home in December of 1968.
He was married to his beloved wife, Kathleen Baughan, of 29 years. Carl is preceded by his parents and is survived by his wife, brother William (Shirley) Baughan, sisters Linda (Ralph Jr.) Chamberlain, Bethany (James) Partridge, Rosalie (Dorwin) Marshall, and Jean (Thomas) Coe, son Curt (Stephanie) Baughan, and grandchildren Corree (Chelsea) Baughan and Bailey (Ryan) Oberg.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home of Williamston with service and burial to follow at Rowley Cemetery.
