

She was born January 21, 1935 to Gladys Margaret May (Couture) and Mathew John Dauphinais in Pontiac, Michigan.
Aggie is survived by her children, Thomas (Gail Larson), Paula (Felix Coste) and Douglas; grandchildren, Kelly (Dayz Dunican), Jessica (Dean Redding), Colin (Emily), lan (Liz); bonus grandsons, Ryan and Trevor Martin; great-grandsons, Blair and Ronan; her sister, Genevieve (Robert deceased) and brother, Eugene (Nona); and sisters-in-law, Donna (David deceased) and Joanne (Gerald deceased). She is also survived by Denise, who affectionately referred to Aggie as, “Auntie Mom“ and will miss their talks and laughter over their weekly phone calls. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, cousins and multiple extended family members. Last but not least, her beloved cat, Finnegan, who has been rehomed with her friend, Dawn.
Aggie is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles; sister-in-law, Dorothy; her brother, Richard; sister-in-law, Linda; her firstborn son, Steven (passed October 23, 2021); and her husband, Charles (passed June 12, 2024).
She graduated in 1953 from St Joseph High School in West Branch, MI, where she met the love of her life, Charles. They were so fortunate to have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in February 2024.
Aggie worked prior to getting married as a telephone operator and at the local theater. After she had children, she devoted her time taking care of and raising her family. In 1974-1990, she went back to work as an administrative assistant at MSP, where her husband was a MSP Detective 1st Lieutenant.
She was a collector of many things. Her largest was a pig collection that was started as a joke because her husband was a police officer.
Aggie was a force of nature, a source of endless laughter, and the heart of our family. She was a woman of unwavering kindness and fierce love, who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was kind, compassionate, and generous to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
