Barbara Ann Bixel

Williamston, Michigan

Born January 20, 1933 to Clarence and Helen Schneck in Pandora, OH. She married Herbert Neil Bixel on January 21, 1956 who preceded her in death on February 15, 1978. Preceded in death by both of her parents, and brother Don Schneck.

Survived by children Matthew (Lisa) Bixel of Bremen, Indiana, Sara (Denny) Silveus of Granger, Indiana, Susan (Todd) Sharp of Okemos, Michigan, Sandy Bixel of South Bend, Indiana, grandchildren Amber and Kayla Bixel, Kyle (Mindy) Silveus, Jamie (Tyler) Moore, Neil (Hannah) Silveus, Brock (Katie) Sharp, Courtney Sharp and fiancé Keith Anderson, Taylor Sharp and great-grandson Conner Silveus, and brothers Bill and Stan Schneck.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7th at 11 am at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd. Lansing, MI 48911, with Pastor Royce Allen officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, MI and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Her compassion for others was evident as she served as a registered nurse and more importantly shared her unending love to her family. She was a regular attendee at Trinity Church where she served in various capacities. Her love for God and family has been an inspiration and will be treasured for generations to come.
