We remember Betty as very witty and fun to be with. Beth and I enjoyed being camping neighbors for several years. Both Percy and Betty were exceptional people. I am so very thankful that our paths crossed. We smile every time we talk about them and we pray for God's comfort.

Liebe Oma, ich bin so unendlich traurig, dass Du gegangen bist. Und ich bin so überglücklich, dass Du ein wundervoller Teil meines Lebens warst, bist und immer sein wirst.

I know you love my German words here, as you did love them on your answering machine. I am very sad right now. And am very happy that you have been and will always be a wonderful part of my life. Love you, my American Grandma.

We remember Betty fondly and the many times she would come to our office to work on the accounting. We loved her sense of humor and attention to detail. We can still hear her laugh. Our condolences to her family.

We were all so blessed to have our Mom. Had we been given a parent catolouge to pick out our parents we would have failed miserably unless we picked both our Mom and Dad as our parents. I will smile often as I think of you both.

We were sadded to hear of the loss of your mom. I was there to visit just a few weeks ago and she seemed really good. I'm just glad I saw her and enjoyed the visit with her we talked a lot about the days we had the store and golfing some really good memories. Our prayers are with you all. Take care Love Joe&Pattie Wieber

May God give comfort to the Alverson family. We will miss Betty as we have missed Percy these past months. What fun they were with their dry and wry wits and great senses of humor! Our world was better for having had them in it, and is poorer now without them; but we look forward to that grand reunion!

She was my hero and one of my rocks....I adored her. Could not have asked for a better mother-in-law. Mom, my heart is heavy and I will think of you and miss you every day until we meet again. Heaven surely is even a better place now with you there! Love you so very much...Greer

I am blessed to have known Betty. She was loved by all and blessed with a wonderful family whom she adored. What a team, Betty and Percy were! Wow!
She will be missed by all.
My sincere condolances to her family, especially Kieth, my special friend.
