Betty Ann Alchin Spalding

Formerly of Williamston, MI

Betty, 82, was born in Webberville, MI, on August 22, 1932, to Tracy and Carlie

Alchin, and passed away September 7, 2014. She graduated from Webberville

High School in 1951and later married Bernard C. Spalding on October 24, 1953.

Betty enjoyed going to garage sales, she loved to travel and being

outdoors and also enjoyed talking and sharing with many friends and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; son, Andrew; son-in-law,

Bob Howlett; siblings, Ward, Everett, and Dorotha. She is survived by Steve

Spalding of Wyoming, MI, Tim (Robin) Spalding of Williamston, MI, and Deb

Howlett of Tucson, Az, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Betty went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Myelodysplasia

Syndrome. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother

and all will dearly miss her.

Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00am, at Gorsline

Runciman Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston, with visitation on

Thursday, from 5-8pm and one hour prior to funeral.

The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston

Chapel.
