Beverly Davis

May 22, 1939December 15, 2020

Beverly Lou Davis (Hartley) was born May 22nd, 1939 to Oswald and Geneieve Hartley and passed away on December 15th, 2020. Bev is survived by her former husband Michael Davis and two daughters, Tammi (Allen) Gehringer and Kelli (Mark) Wilkinson, her brothers Gerald (Ann) Hartley and Robert (Linda) Hartley and brother in law William Ahlers, 5 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. Bev was preceded in death by her parents and sister Anna Mae Ahlers (Hartley). Bev worked at her parents print shop, Hartley Printing and Speaker Hines Binding books until starting her own house cleaning business until retiring in Williamston. Bev was an avid bowler at Marvelanes in Haslett for many years and also enjoyed football games at Michigan State, Haslett, and Williamston High school. Bev often spent time taking random drives to pop in and visit her friends and family.

*A note to our Grandma* Our Grandma wasn’t just ours, she was everyone’s grandma. She “adopted” many of our friends that visited over the years. She fed everyone that came through her door. Grandma made goulash often but our true favorite was her chili ( but we never told her or complained). Grandma was quick to let you know if you were making mistakes, and we usually deserved to hear it. We will never forget Grandma yelling at MSU to “ get your act together” or her wacky sense of humor that kept us constantly shaking our heads. We will miss you Grandma. Watch over us and will see you on the other side. Love always, Sarah, Aaron, Joe, Devan and Dallas.

Please join Beverly's family for a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 12th 2021 at 2pm. Location is 9200 Warner Road, Haslett.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Beverly’s honor to Williamston NIESA, 1296 W Grand River Ave, Williamston, MI 48895; which she was very proud of.

Anyone who could raise a beautiful, kind, and giving daughter like Kelli must have been a truly remarkable mother.
Kelli: I am so sorry. From the deep place in my heart I pray you, and the kids,’— are comforted.
We love you , God be with you in this time.

Kelly and Tammy, I am so sorry to hear of Mom's passing. I will never forget her kindness when I came to spend the night with you Tammy. Or when cheering under you Kelly. Every Haslett game I remember Mom was there. She always had extra room under her blanket for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. My heart is very heavy. Love you!
