Bobby F. Patton was born October 22, 1937 and peacefully passed away with his loving wife Jean by his side on March 9, 2016 at the age of 78. Bobby was the son of Clara Estelle (Schultz) and Benjamin Franklin Patton. Bob was employed for 30 years by Sears in the Automotive division. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and was a handyman that could do anything. Bobby was happiest when he was with his family, being around cars and hunting.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Roy Patton. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife Jean, brother Dennis (Beatrice) Patton, sister Velma Joy (Jessie) Alderson, and sister-in-law Suzanne Patton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St., with Pastor Lori Sykes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11am.
