Uncle Carl was always the life of our family reunion. As kids we would always race everywhere around the park and one year there was a big hill, Uncle Carl was the one to beat us all!

He will be truly missed, and I hope everyone will continue to live in his way of being happy and laughing.

I love you, Uncle Carl.
May we meet again.

Carl was a loyal customer of mine.

He and Jan were a wonderful couple.

Carl could out work anyone.

He was a very gracious and friendly man.

I enjoyed his company.

He will be dearly missed.

I have joy knowing he went home to be with the Lord.

I met Carl by way of my future wife Susan Osborne who lived just around the corner from Carl. Once introduced to Carl, I felt like I had known him for years. Not only was Carl one of the hardest working people I know, he was one of the most friendly and kind.
Many times Susan and I would be working in her yard when Carl would go past with his car pulling his trailer. He would always wave. If he had time he would stop and visit saying "I thought I would check on you, I haven't seen you to talk to lately". It has been an honor to know Carl and have him as a friend. My condolences and prayers go the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Carl was such a blessing to me when I lived in Williamston. He was always there if I needed a tree cut down/trimmed, lawn mowed, or rocks brought in to place around my backyard flower bed. If he was driving by my house, he would stop just to say hello and fill me in on what he had been doing. When Jan and Carl would drive by in their golf cart, they would always wave and have big smiles on their faces.

His never ending energy was amazing! He could remove 11 tree stumps and then mow someone's lawn all in one day.

Carl was a genuine "good guy" and will be missed!

Thousands of cups of coffee. Special days of friendship spent with Carl and Jan at Epcot, Busch Gardens, the Florida State Fair, Bok Tower and Gardens...............So many Broadway shows and dinners at the Lakeland Center.
Like many others, we will miss Carl terribly, but we are so grateful for all of the wonderful memories we have.
