Butch passed at his residence on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Butch was born on June 8, 1939 to Edmond and Bertha Estes. They were married on April 8, 1961 and just celebrated their 61st anniversary. He was a 1958 graduate from East Lansing High School. He retired from Oldsmobile in 1991.
Butch enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, softball, storytelling, wood working, and Michigan State University.
He is survived by his wife Nancy , children; Linda (John) Vandenbroek, Debora (Kerry) Kerestury, Mindi (Jason) Brya; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren ; Sister: Joyce Rice, Brother: Neil (Lea) Estes, Wallace Estes.
Preceded in passing by his son in Law Dale Powell, Sister Rosemarie (Ward) Covell, Brothers Gerald Dean (Florence) Estes, Walter Estes, Gail (Evie) Estes.
A visitation for Carlton will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Williamston Free Methodist Church, 4400 N Williamston Rd, Williamston, MI 48895. A funeral service will at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Roselawn Cemetery, W Ellsworth Rd, Perry, MI 48872.
Serving as pallbearers are Carl Straub, Triton Straub, Jason Brya, John Vandenbroek, Kerry Kerestury, Nicholas King and Wyatt Johnson.
