Charlotte A. Coe

Our mother, Charlotte Anne Ancel Coe, passed away May 25, 2025 at age 90. She is the daughter of H. Stanley Risch and Mary Cole Risch. She had many interests including sewing, crafting, camping, family gatherings and watching many sports that her kids and grandkids participated in. She loved her special dogs: Bo, Hannah, and Gracie.

Mom knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds with family and friends. She unconditionally and unselfishly loved her children and grandchildren and supported them throughout their lives. She is survived by her children: Dan (Teri) Ancel, Mary (Mark) Lott, Cindy (Brad) Chamberlain, Tom (Jo) Ancel, Laurie (Tom) Ambrosius; 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren; as well as her daughter-in-law Diane and son-in-law, Bruce.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Darwin Ancel and William Coe; her children, Ed Ancel and Deborah Peake; grandsons, Joshua Lott and Devon Ancel; and her brothers, Harold Risch and Gaylord Risch.

Visitation for Charlotte will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm at Gorsline Runciman Williamston Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2pm with visitation beginning at 1pm at Gorsline Runciman Williamston Chapel. Charlotte will be laid to rest at Alchin Farm Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Heart to Heart Hospice or make a cash donation to the Joshua Lott Memorial Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home for cash donations.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice and The Willows of Okemos for the wonderful love and care they gave our mom and to all of us in her final days.
