Connie Lou Hoag

Connie was born on January 26, 1947, to Howard and Ruth Metcalf. She graduated from Webberville High School. Connie married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Hoag, on April 3, 1964, and together they shared a lifetime filled with love, family, travel, and cherished memories.

She was the loving mother of Michelle Barnabe (Fred), Angie Feguer (Blaine Kubiak), and Ron Hoag Jr. (Melissa). Connie cherished time with her family, spending many summers camping and traveling on family vacations. As her children grew, she took great pleasure in attending their sporting events and being their biggest fan, always cheering them on with love and pride.

Connie was also a proud grandmother to Tony Barnabe (Liz), Drew Barnabe (Kaileigh), Garrett Teague (Morgan), Alex Barnabe (Monique), Hannah Hoag, Noah Hoag, Isaiah Hoag (Rebecca), and Daxten Feguer. Her family was the center of her life, and she took immense pride in each and every one of them. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.

Connie retired in 1995 from Republic Bank, where she worked as a Senior Personnel Banker and Branch Supervisor. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication throughout her career.

In retirement, Connie and her husband Ron enjoyed traveling across the country together, taking in the beauty and sights that life had to offer. She also greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Connie found great joy in knitting and crocheting, putting love into every stitch she created. Her handmade gifts and keepsakes will remain treasured reminders of her warmth and caring spirit.

Connie will be remembered for her loving heart, quiet strength, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind countless cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E Middle St Williamston, MI 48895. The family will greet family and friends on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial at Alchin Farm Cemetery in Webberville, MI.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
