uncle on Sept.17, 2018 at the age of 89. Dale was born in 1929 in the shadow of
the "Big House" in Ann Arbor but moved to the Williamston area with his family
where he later attended Michigan State University.

An avid fisherman and hunter, Dale loved the outdoors. He enjoyed his acreage
in the U.P. feeding and watching black bear in his yard as well as deer hunting
with his family and friends in the many blinds he built with his brother. Dale also
enjoyed several hunting and fishing trips accompanied by family and friends in
Alaska, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Canada.
Dale's nieces and nephews came to know him as a serious croquet player and
they knew to watch out or your ball would be knocked into the bushes or
elsewhere. It was also rumored that you had to watch the toothpick in his mouth
when playing euchre with him.
Dale will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service
