Dave was just an amazing man. I had the joy of knowing him for many years. When I attended williamston first baptist church he was my youth group leader. He always looked out for us kids and teens. Some of my favorite times were our youth group trips. He always made it fun, planning outtings. Thank you Dave for all of the years of service to the community. You will be forever missed.

Dave was a wonderful person with the kindest of heart and a brother in Christ. I knew him through years at The First Baptist Church of Williamston. He was a great leader for my daughter, Samantha, and all the other kids of the church. He will be dearly missed.

Growing up, my sister's and I went to the first Baptist church in Williamston. Dave was our pastor for the youth sector of the church. This man did so much for us growing up. He has the biggest heart out of anyone I've ever met. He was like a father figure for me growing up!! He meant a lot to me and my family. My prayers go out to Wendy and the entire family and everyone who knew him. If you didn't get a chance to know this man, just know you missed out on one of God's greatest gifts! Let god wrap his arms around you and protect you for eternity!! I'll always love you and miss you oh so much!!

Wendy and Family,
I am thankful to to have known David. It was such an asset to have "a guy" summer camp counselor at the Willimaston's Kids' Camp program. The kids and staff loved having him on board. He was always ready to help others. I remember David always had a big smile that lit up the hearts of people whose life he touched.

You and your family are in my thoughts, my heart and prayers. Wishing all of you strength and peace.

With love,
Lila Andrews

A true man of God who let his light shine wherever he went. Dave had a big impact on my life as a teen in youth group, and I was also fortunate enough to have him as a colleague at WMS where he went above and beyond for students and staff alike. He will be missed by so, so many. Rest In Peace, Dave, God has a special place just for you.

I remember all the great times as a teen being under his guidance at church. The painting of the JV room, the love he showed for his ministry and his family.

Heaven got a mighty man of God and he will be missed on this earth.
