Dawn C. Tunningley

Dawn was born on August 4, 1935 in Lansing, MI, to Daniel and Dorothy (Lantis) Hanna and passed away on May 7, 2013 in Lansing, MI. Dawn was a lady with a loving heart who always had a smile for everyone. She loved the casinos, wood carving, playing cards, painting, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was a great friend and mother; even the nurses in the hospital asked to have her back as their patient. Another love was her church, Dimondale United Methodist Church. Dawn will be dearly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dean; and a sister, Loris. Surviving to cherish her memory are one daughter, Diane (Keith Davis) Keith; two sons, Dan (Laureen) Tunningley and David (Shelly) Tunningley; eight grandchildren, Dean, Nicki (Andrew), Dan, Sarah (Mark), Brian, Mark, Heather, and Scott; and two great grandchildren, Hanna and Madison. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13 at 12 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, Williamston MI. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 a.m. prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Dimondale United Methodist Church, 6801 Creyts Rd., Dimondale, MI 48821 in memory of Dawn Tunningley.
