Sorry to hear, years ago he was my doctor as a child. He was a good doctor.I was in the hospital years ago with a high fever and he found out it was just an ear infection. He sent me home on antibiotics and said all she needs is take that, be held (in rocking chair). Another doctor had a spinal tap done on me. I was only 4 or 5. So then that is when he became my new doctor.

Scott and Family, It has been so many years since I lived in Williamston and now find myself so far away. However, as so many from across the U.S. and beyond have expressed the same thoughts and rememberances, I too, wish to do the same. Dr. McCorvie was our family doctor from the time I was 4 to 12. He brought three of my five siblings into this world. I remember always feeling safe with him, even if it meant a SHOT!!! I thank you and your family for sharing him with so many. With deepest sympathy and respect.

Lisa and all the family - we are thinking of you all at this sad time. We hope your many happy memories of your Dad will help you through. Even having met your Dad for the short time in Michigan for Christmas and your wedding, he made a great impression as a kind and loving man. It's clear from the comments here that he made the same impression on many others.

Lois and Family, We thought we could work out a way to be with you today but we can't. I had retina surgery Monday and Janet bummed a ride to the eye doctor this morning for an eye injection so neither of us can drive today. Please know we are there for you in spirit and in our prayers. We will always remember Don as a very pleasant and kind person and hope you get some comfort from knowing he is now watching form his new home in heaven. God Bless, Jim and Janet Leonard
