Dorothy A. Bickley, 81, resident of Capital Area MediLodge in Lansing, Michigan, passed away December 28, 2020 due to the Covid-19 virus.

Dorothy will be remembered by the Capital Area MediLodge staff and residents where she resided the past nine years. Dorothy enjoyed greeting people as they came to visit her and other residents at the nursing home.

Her family will remember her lifetime in Williamston and Webberville, her interest in crafts, her favorite Roy Rogers TV shows, her TV stories (soaps), westerns, and Disney programs. She loved getting to rock the new babies in the family, going to Williamston parades, collecting stuffed animals, and eating out… She loved to tease and laugh with people she saw on a daily basis.

A special thank you to Capital Area MediLodge, McLaren Hospital and Hospice staff, and the Lodge of Taylor for the care and friendship provided to Dorothy doing her years as a resident.

Dorothy was a well loved resident of Medilodge of Capital Area. She was frequently singing in the hallways and I will cherish her “Well Hi!” greeting most days. Rest In Peace, Dorothy.
