

Edwin Arnold Tinsley passed away in his home that he shared with his wife, Marilyn Tinsley, on October 12, 2017. Edwin left behind his wife, Marilyn; his daughters, Wendy and Doreen and his grandchildren, Chelsea and Blake as well as his siblings, Norm, Shirley, Barb and Margaret.
Edwin was born December 17, 1933 in his home in Berkley, MI. Through Edwin's life he chose to follow the working man path as a repairman in many forms such as a Combat Engineer in the Army and a Repair Technician at Sears Roebuck and Co. for 30 years. Shortly after retiring, he got a part time job at Dicker & Deal continuing on his lifelong hobby of repairing things for another 23 years.
Edwin and Marilyn met at a bakery that was next to a small repair shop where Edwin worked after leaving the Army. He stopped in every day on his lunch break. They fell in love and were married in February of 1963. They had two daughters, Wendy and Doreen, that they raised in their home in Williamston, MI.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel with visitation one hour prior.
