Eleanor Rachel Winter

Eleanor Rachel Winter passed away in peace and comfort on February 10. 2022 at the age of 90. Eleanor was born in Mason, Michigan on May 23, 1931, the daughter of Hugh and Ruby (Eiman) Austin. She married Wayne Edward Winter on May 4, 1963 and they moved to Williamston. Eleanor worked as a telephone operator. She retired from General Motors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, and by her brothers Paul, Art and Willis (Bill), and her sisters Ruth Perry, Marian Cornell and Sharon Redman. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel. Interment will follow at Summit Cemetery in Williamston. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
