Gordon was a great friend from many seasons in Bonaire. How he loved to go snorkeling everyday there and count the fish and all the other wondrous creatures of the sea. He was such a kind, considerate, and Christian man who loved every moment that God gave him. May he rest in eternal peace after a life well-lived. He will be missed by so many!!!!!

I could write a book about the way I feel about Gordon and Barney. What loving and caring people. Little did I know when I retired, moved to Manistee and started working at the campground I would get to come in contact with the tomato lady and tomato man from my childhood days in Lansing. Gordon would come in any day I was at the store, ask how I was, did I need a bathroom break and how was fishing. Barney is like having another Mom, her visits when I was in the hospital and care facility. Her gifts of flowers, raspberries and friendship. I loved Gordon got to fish in Tight Lines and bless him for his military service. A WWll veteran, there are so few of these special vets still with us. Love and prayers to Barney , Jim and Debbie and family. Thank you Gordon for your friendship.

Dear Barney and family, we are so sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. Our fondest memory is seeing him at the campground zooming around on his golf cart with all of his pals on the roof, and sharing his Big day at his and Barney's birthday bash a couple of years ago. He was a wonderful, sweet man and he will be missed by many. Love and God's blessings to all.

Gordon had a heart of gold. Always willing to help were he could. I remember him helping me get two birds out of the campground store one time when they flew in. He thought it was so funny that I was scared of them. That’s okay! He was kind to rescue the birds for me! Lol I will miss you! I love you Barney will be praying for you! And all the family.
