Helen Jean Hall

Helen Jean (Morrison) Hall was taken into the presence of her Savior on February 14, 2022. Helen Jean, daughter of Eleanor (Fuller) Morrison and Ottis B. Morrison, was born at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI, December 16, 1929. She attended the Fuller Grade School and graduated from Morrice High School in 1947. She married her childhood sweetheart, Dewaine Louis Hall, on February 14, 1948. She worked for several years for Citizen's Mutual in Howell, MI. She was crowned Miss Howell in 1949. The couple then moved to Williamston, MI where she became a devoted mother to six children and an active member of the First Baptist Church in Williamston. Her wonderful gift of piano playing was a blessing to many as were her lavish cakes and marvelous sugar cookies! Helen Jean's loving enjoyment of family and friends was always clearly evident, while her chief desire was to serve God and to be witness of the saving grace of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dewaine and by her son-in-law Greg L. Sharp. Honoring her memory are her children: Linda (John) Hayden, Mason; David (Diane) Hall, Williamston; Susan (David) VanValin, Linden; Mary Ann Sharp, Fenton; Vonda (Lindsay) Hager, Fremont; Jonathan (Sally) Hall, Lansing. She was also a loving grandmother to twenty seven grandchildren and thirty seven great grand children.

A service will be held at First Baptist Church of Williamston on Saturday February 26, 2022 at 11:00am, with family receiving friends one hour prior to service. Pastor John Hayden (son-in-law) will be officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, Williamston Chapel. Interment at Summit Cemetery, Williamston, MI.
