Age 78; passed away September 14, 2010; born April 19, 1932 in Lansing, to Archie and Lila Botsford. Hugh worked as a Pipe Fitter at Oldsmobile for 43 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Hugh was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife Lydia of 52 years; children, Christopher, Pamela (Gary), Roy and Carrie (Brian); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild is on the way; 5 brother and sisters and numerous, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and coworkers. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 20, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 157 High Street, Williamston with the Rev. Peter J. Clark, officiating. The Rite of Committal will be held Monday following the Mass in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The family will also receive friends at the church on Monday 1 hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to The Susan G.
