Janet Lee O'Brien

Janet O’Brien (Olson) passed away December 4, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer, family at her side. She was born a Halloween baby with a birth date of October 31, 1939 and was fond of saying she was a treat, not a trick! Janet was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben O’Brien and survived by her husband Bill St. John. Janet is also survived by five children, Brendan (Beth) O’Brien, Tom (Beth) O’Brien, Pat (Teandra) O’Brien, Kate (Mike) O’Brien, Christy O’Brien; ten grandchildren; and seven siblings, Phyllis Montague, Dave Olson, Brian Olson, Karen Albee, Jeri Melnik, and Kevin Olson. Janet is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Melvina Olson; and her sister Erin Olson.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday December 9th at 11am at St. Martha Catholic Church in Okemos, with Father Mike Murray officiating. Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel Friday, December, 8th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
