Jason passed away on April 25, 2017, at the age of 84. He was born June 12, 1932 in Williamston, MI to Jasper and Ettie Gertrude Nichols.
Jason was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Josephine Chilino, Mildred Pearson, Gladys Baker, Mary Dilley, nephews Ronald Dilley and Larry Dilley, and niece Mary Ellen Brady. Surviving to cherish his memory are his sister, Rose Nichols; nieces and nephews, Ruth Ann Brown, Beryll Ann Stroker, Janet Bischoff, Richard Chilino, Sarah Ann, Suzanne Hauser, Linda Blume, Irene Hitt, and several great nieces and nephews.
Jason was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He was a skilled Roofer who retired to Laingsburg, MI after having lived in Colorado for a number of years. Although he always had a joke to tell, Jason was a very hard worker and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Summit Cemetery, Williamston, MI.
