Joseph Peter Slick

LANSING

Joseph Slick, age 73, passed away on February 2, 2015. He was born on March 18 1941 in Albion, Michigan to Jerry and Bessie (Lettow) Cvitkovic. Joe is a Retired General Motor factory worker. UAW member 652.

Proceeded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters; Joe is survived by his 2 daughters Tiffany (Duane) Carr, Joeline (Jake) Slick; 2 step-daughters, Tina (Brian) Anderson and Tanja Scifers; 3 sisters Elizabeth Belt, Dorothy Bauman, Sandra Johnson and one brother Robert Tenuta; 14 loving grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; a devoted friend, Wanda Slick; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Joe was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to all. He loved his children and grandchildren. Joe was known as a friendly guy always trying to strike up a conversation with everyone.

He enjoyed watching College ball games and bowling on several leagues at Royal Scott. Most of all he loved seeing his children and grandchildren playing sports.

The Family would like to thank Ed Martinez for being such a good friend and driving our father around.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, February 7, 2015, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Williamston Chapel, 205 East Middle Street, Williamston, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
