Karen Jean Lee passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 73. A lifelong resident of Williamston, she was both fiercely devoted to her family and a dedicated public servant with the State of Michigan for over 30 years.
Karen is survived by her children, Jennifer (Alice) Young and Joseph (Tabatha) Gawronski; grandchildren Camorin, Madison, and Lydia; siblings Lynn (Mike) Huffman, Dan (Kyle) Gulick, and John (Linda) Gulick, and sister-in-law Linda Campbell; and many dear nieces, nephews, and other extended family. In death she is reunited with her beloved husband, Robert “Skip” Lee Jr.; her parents Joseph and Gloria Gulick; brothers, Larry Campbell and Daniel Dean Campbell, and sister, Judy Phillips.
In accordance with Karen’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen’s name may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W Saginaw Street, Lansing, MI 48915.
