I remember most fondly the fatherly advice Karl gave me. He always helped in words and deeds. He is an amazing person and we are lucky to have a person in our lives that has set such a good and decent example.

Love and miss you Grandpa Goodnoe.

Love you grandpa. You told great stories of your time in the Navy and I'm glad to know you got to take a trip out west to California see the ship you were in back then. I'll always remember your ready smile and hugs as we walked in the door and you were always whistling a random tune. When I hear someone randomly whistling I think of you. I'll also miss having pizza with you as that was your go to meal with us when we visited these last few years. Love you and miss you!!

My deepest sympathy to Karl's family. We knew Karl from the Williamston Area Senior Center where my husband and I are both volunteers. Karl was a true gentlemen, a kind soul with a great sense of humor. He will be missed!

There are so many memories of Grandpa for us that it would be impossible to name just one. He was also known to my kids as Grandpa Grape. A name he made up for them because great grandpa was just too hard to say. Each memory will hold a special place in our hearts forever. He held a special place and bond in his heart for us but especially for his train loving buddy Hunter. Grandpa never lost his inner child and his love for them could light up a room and put a smile on their faces no matter what they were going through. A constant and loving presence through our whole lives with Grandma. Teaching us what true love and family is all about. Besides Grandma, the kids were the center of his world. We are thankful today however to know that he can finally rest with Grandma Goodnoe who he has missed so very much since she passed. It hurts so very much to lose him from sight but he will never be far from us in our hearts. We love you forever and always Grandpa Grape!!!

To my Goodnoe Cousins.

So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I did not get to know Uncle Karl until 1993. We spent several annual visits when we attended the Soule Family Reunions. We were able to spend time visiting him and Aunt Thelma at their home. He had a wonderful since of humor. He will be missed by those who knew him. RIP Uncle Karl.

Love your nephew Jim and Grand niece Susan.
