

Kimberley married Bryan Johnson on June 5th, 1999. They had two wonderful sons together, Tyler and Brayden.
She graduated from Nouvel Catholic Central and then went on to earn her bachelor’s at Michigan State University. Kimberley worked as a Preschool Teacher for KinderCare of East Lansing, MI and Little Leap Learning Center of Williamston, MI. She was seen as a difference maker by her kids, staff and parents during her 9 years at Little Leap. Along with being a dedicated teacher, Kim was also a devoted Michigan State sports fan. For over 25 years, the Breslin tailgating on Saturday home football games became a memorable destination spot for family and friends to connect.
Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family on vacation trips and supporting both of her sons' athletic and academic endeavors. She took great pride in improving her community and growing the future generations of Williamston students. She was a parishioner and volunteer St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Elementary school.
Kimberley is survived by:Her husband Bryan Kenneth Johnson, and their children Tyler and Brayden, of Williamston. Her brother Christopher Allen Mellon, his wife Kerri, their children Alec and Joshua, of Saginaw. Brother-in-law Kevin Johnson, his wife Jennifer Johnson, and their children Jake and Nathan Johnson, of Itaska, IL. Sister-in-law Taylor Colby and her children Isaiah and Jordan. She also had a close relationship with Bryan’s parents Ken (and Lisa) Johnson and Debbie (and John) Metcalf.
Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 5-8 pm, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston, MI.
The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 am Thursday, October 30, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 157 High St, Williamston, MI, with Fr. Ginu as Celebrant. Visitation for friends and family will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Following Mass will be a procession to Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery for the Rite of Committal.
In lieu flowers, Kimberley had requested that all monetary donations are to be made towards a higher education fund for Tyler and Brayden. An account has been established at Independent Bank of Williamston where donations can be directed under the account name “In Memoriam of Kimberley L Johnson” Address: 1245 E.
