Lucille Marie Gilroy

Okeechobee, Fl, Formerly of Williamston, MI

Died on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Okechobee, FL at the age of 92. She was born December 29, 1919 in Sault Ste Marie, MI the daughter of Samuel and Ethel (Long) Zoldock. She married Clarence Gilroy and he preceded her in death in 1981. Lucille was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret and brothers, Sam and Elmer. She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Mel (Jennifer) Gilroy and daughter, Mary Conley; 5 grandchildren: Pattie Stephenson, Scott Conley, Megan Bovee, Emily Gilroy, Erin Gilroy and 5 great-grandchildren. Lucille was a former member of the Williamston United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star in Williamston. She was a school bus driver as well as a food service worker in the Williamston Community Schools. Lucille was a fantastic cook and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her family will celebrate her life on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, MI. with Pastor Julie Greyerbiehl officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Summit Cemetery.
