Max was born on May 6, 1931 in Lansing, MI, the son of Burdette and Greta (Wolfgang) Hall, and went to live with his Lord on September 22, 2015 at the age of 84.
He graduated from Alma Public Schools in 1949. He graduated from Central Michigan University, and obtained a MA in Traffic Safety from Michigan State University. He taught at Waverly schools from 1961-1991.
Max was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.
Max enjoyed piloting his airplane, music, gardening, and traveling but, the best times were with his family and his dog, Liberty.
Max married Shirley (Buchele) Hall on March 27, 1954 and moved to Williamston, MI in 1975. He was a member of Vantown Community Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley; daughters, Mindy (John) Lawton, Teresa (Jeff) Crawford; son, Curtis (Donna) Hall; grandchildren, Kelly (Kyle) Forrest, Lucas and Olivia Crawford, and great grandson Maxwell James Forrest.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Vantown Community Church, 3504 E. Howell Rd, Webberville, MI. Visitation will be Friday, September 25, from 2-4 & 6-8 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, and at the church Saturday at 10:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service.
