

Born on November 3, 1958, in Jackson, Michigan, Pamela grew up in Dansville and graduated from Dansville High School in 1977. She married her beloved husband, Timothy Glenn Acker, and together they shared 44 years of marriage, building a life in Williamston, where they raised their family and created countless cherished memories.
Pamela was a devoted childcare provider, lovingly caring for many children as a babysitter and leaving a lasting impact with her nurturing spirit. She also worked as a cashier at D&W for many years, where her warm smile and kind demeanor brightened the days of customers and colleagues alike. Pamela found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including playing games like Boggle, Yahtzee, and Uno, solving puzzles and word searches, creating diamond art, and cross-stitching. Above all, she treasured spending time with her friends and family, filling their lives with love and laughter.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy Acker; her children, Amber Acker, Timothy Acker II and his wife, Esther Chong, Danielle Acker, and Marlena Marshall, wife of the late Charles Acker; her 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; her sister, Linda Brown, and her husband, Charles Brown.
Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Berl and Nora King, and her son, Charles Acker.
Pamela’s infectious warmth, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to her family left an enduring mark on all who knew her. Her legacy of love and care will live on in the countless lives she touched.
Visitation for Pamela will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 East Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895. The funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home; with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Alchin Farm Cemetery.
