Philip James Sturock, 46, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020. Philip was born on Friday, February 1, 1974, the son of John James Sturock and Susan (Cargill) Sturock. He is survived by his wife Katrina (Gardner) Sturock and children Clay (Bailey) Hart of Traverse City, Michigan, Lily Sturock, Cullen Sturock, Keegan Sturock and Emerald Sturock, all of Williamston, Michigan. He is also survived by his sister Amy (Sturock) Ganton and Timothy K. Ganton and their children Brian Ganton and Madeline Ganton, all of Williamston, Michigan. He was also the grandfather of Aisley J. and Aleah J. Hart. Philip attended Ferris State University, was a FSU Bulldog hockey player and studied construction management. A creative, able construction supervisor he took joy in restructuring the Stoney Creek Mill Pond at Greenfield Village, enumerable bridges and tunnels and schools in southeastern Michigan. Most of all, he was a family man who loved his children and raising them in the countryside.
A private family service is planned for Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Williamston, Michigan at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home.
