Robert "Les" Moore

Robert "Les" Moore died November 13, 2015 at the age of 95. He was born February 16, 1920, in Hubbardston, MI, the son of Ernest and Ethel Moore. Running the family farm in Hubbardston, he sold the farm in 1964 moving to Williamston. He retired from MSU's Beef Cattle Research Center where he'd worked as a Herdsman. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Damer; niece, Kathy Rodgers; great-nephew, John Rodgers; great-niece, Lauren Rodgers; Bonnie Newman, Spencer (Heather) Damer, Jason (Tracy) Damer Terrie (Jeff) Farrell; and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Moore; brothers-in-law Fred Rodgers and John Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Viola Rodgers and Betty Rodgers; and nephew, Michael Rodgers. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston, MI 48895. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
