Born and raised in Williamston, Michigan, Robert graduated from Williamston High School in 1978. After graduation, he lived in Lansing and then moved to Grand Ledge, where he lived for the past 32 years.
Robert married the love of his life, Michelle Ann Webb, on May 14, 1988, at the Williamston United Methodist Church, marking the beginning of a wonderful 37-year marriage. Together, they raised two amazing daughters, Samantha and Rachel Webb.
Rob was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, MSU basketball, and the Detroit Lions. He also took great pride in maintaining his lawn and enjoyed tinkering in his shop and fixing things around the house. He loved family gatherings and vacations and fishing with his girls at the cottage. His career journey led him to work in HVAC for over 20 years, followed by a 10-year period as a loving stay-at-home dad. After his children were older, he got his start in the hospitality industry as a seasonal concession supervisor for the Lansing Lugnuts and then worked as a banquet supervisor at The University Club of MSU and later at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; daughters, Samantha (Bryce Brown) Webb and Rachel (Bradley Bucher) Webb; sisters, Charlene (Gary) Fitch and Alesa (Jay Tetreau) Webb; brother, John (Kathy) Webb; his only grandchild, Eli Brown; and many nieces, nephews, in- laws and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Elara Caring and the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center for their compassionate care and support.
