

Ronald Bair Willson, age 83, of Williamston, Michigan passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Ron was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 29, 1941. He moved to Flint at a young age where his grandparents played an important role in his childhood and beyond. Ron graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Science and worked for the State of Michigan as an Aquatic Biologist. He retired after 25 years representing the people as a passionate and successful advocate for water quality. Following his retirement from the State of Michigan Ron worked as Director of Environmental Activities for Photo Marketing Association International. Ron was a graceful woodsman and an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Melodee (Spaleny) Willson; sons, Michael (Heather) and Jeff (Cynthia) Willson; grandchildren, Mary (James) Search, Kevin Willson, Jonathon Willson; great-granddaughters, Lucille and Elizabeth Search; great-grandson, Johnny Willson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Tucker and grandparents, Rohlin and Ruby Bair.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
