Roselyn passed away on November 15, 2016 at the age of 99. Born to Edward and Philamine (Fox) Long, on October 25, 1917.
Roselyn graduated from Central Michigan Teacher’s College (CMU) in 1943 and taught for Grosse Ile and Trenton Public Schools. Roselyn married Paul DuChene in 1948 and raised three daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother (Patrick Long) and her sister (Mary Anne Long Russman). Surviving are her sister Priscilla (Long) Hansen; daughters, Mary DuChene (Bill Davidson), Paula Pflepsen (Waldemar/Wally Pflepsen), and Carmon DuChene; grandchildren, Ryan (Jenn) Pavlik, Molly (Rick) Hosey, W. Jake Pflepsen, Lauren (Jake Frenz) Pflepsen; and five great grandchildren.
