Shawn was such a beautiful soul. So happy and kind to everyone. I am quite sure she never knew a stranger. When I went to the bank, she was always so kind and genuinely interested in what was going on with my life. She took time to get to know everyone. Her family and friends have my deepest condolences. The world is a sadder place without her in it.

RIP dear Shawn. I loved having you in my life when you were much younger. You were such a sweetheart. I never told you this after our relationship was stopped abruptly but I loved you to death. Please make heaven as enjoyable as you made us on earth. You will now be able to be with your Grandpa and Grandma Buell and Uncle Bill Buell and anyone you have lost on your mom’s side. You are now an angel in heaven. You will always be close in  my heart❤️ 😘

Cathy, Gary, Family and Friends:  We were saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Shawn.  Our hearts are broken.  Shawn was always happy and fun to be around and the life of the party.  There was never a dull moment!!!  Wishing peace and comfort to all during this difficult time.  

There are some people you meet that you never forget no matter how many years have passed. Full of life, always smiling, always happy and positive. Shawn was definitely one of those people. And in the most recent year or so I could tell she was especially happy. I am just so saddened by this news.

Shawn was always so joyful and made banking trips fun!  I will miss her!

Shawn.... what can be said about a woman with that angelic smile.  We too have known her from connection at PNC. 

Yet, through the years she became more than just a hug, laughter and smile at door.  We saw her as a friend we saw and spoke to regularly.  

Truly heartbroken for you all. Truly will miss her and think of her each time I walk through that door.

We would simply like to add our names to those who met Shawn by virtue of banking at the Okemos PNC branch for many, many years.  Without exception, whenever we would come in to transact our business at PNC we would hear Shawn offer a vocal welcome from across the room.  She would ALWAYS remember our names and make us feel at home.  Shawn, you never failed to brighten our day!!  Going to the Okemos PNC  will NEVER ever be the same without seeing you Shawn.  We will miss you!!

I worked with Shawn for several years at the bank.  I can't remember a time when she wasn't laughing and smiling.  We didn't connect very often.  But now and then, one of us would reach out to the other just to say hi and check in.  I love you Shawn, and I will see you again one day. XOXO

I have known Shawn for several years working at the bank, although I didn't get to see her very often.  After spending a day with her when I first met her, I felt compelled to tell her "Shawn, I think you are the HAPPIEST person I have ever met in my whole life!"  That is what I will always remember about her, she saw the positive in every situation and every person, and was truly fun to be around.  I am so sorry for the loss her family and friends must be feeling.  She truly was a one in a million person.  I am keeping all who knew her in my prayers.  Gone much too soon!  I was honored to have known her.

I was so saddened to hear the news about Shawn.  Although I have not seen her in years, I remember babysitting her and Greg when they were little.  I especially remember how much I loved that sweet little girl.  I remember making Shawn a little dress as she was one of my favorites.  I can still see her beautiful little face and smile and hear her giggles.

I just can't believe I won't hear that voice laughing in the background next time I call, or see that smiling face next time I stop in. Your heart was as big as your personality, and you always made everyone feel so welcome and loved. I've so enjoyed watching how happy you've been in your relationship, and how you've continued to embrace life with joy and excitement . I had my business account at PNC in Okemos. Going into the bank on a daily basis was always so pleasant and fun with Shawn.  She was the happiest and nicest person always. She will definitely be missed.

I have loved Shawn since she was a little girl... always smiling,  always hugging,  and always saying I love you.  She had a knack for making others feel important and instantly special.  I'm thankful she was so happy with life,  her fiance, and family and friends.  Her enthusiasm for life was quite contagious...God rest her soul.  May you all find peace knowing what a special person you had in your lives... 
To her parents ... there are no words I can say to take away your pain. Knowing you raised a tremendous human being that lived life to the fullest with joy and heartfelt love,  may that be some comfort . God will welcome an Angel that we all had the privilege of knowing 45 years. 
To Shawn's brothers... the pain of losing a sibling is the saddest thing to experience. She loved her brothers, and I know you'll be lost with her.  I will be praying for you.  
To Rich... she wore diamonds in her eyes when she spoke of you.  She was so incredibly happy to have met you, and  to love you. She had waited for a mate like you, one to love her like she deserved to be loved all these years.  Thank you for making her feel "complete". You meant the world to her and may God give you comfort now and in the future.
