Born on December 14, 1954, in Lansing, Michigan, Tom was the beloved son of Wayne and Janet Taylor. He was a devoted husband to Pamela Taylor, whom he married on April 10, 1976. Together they built a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories for 50 years.
Tom was a proud father to his sons, Thomas (Kris) Taylor and John Taylor, and a cherished grandfather to TJ Taylor, Seth Taylor, Ryan (Tara) Troiano, and Courtnie Smithers. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Connor, Ella, Ethan, Brantley, and Grayson.
He is survived by his wife Pam, mother Janet, sister Marcia (Chris) Grondahl, brother Ron (Eileen) Taylor, sister Melody Taylor, nieces Nichole (Pete) Shinners, Lisa and Kimberley Thompson, Danielle (Lyle) Harker, nephew Adam Taylor, and countless other nieces and nephews, stepbrothers and sisters, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Wayne, sister Colleen Taylor, brother Jeff (Gayle) Taylor.
A skilled and respected master automotive technician, Tom dedicated over 40 years to his craft before retiring from Ron’s Service Center. His work ethic, integrity, and generosity earned him the admiration of both colleagues and customers alike.
Outside of work, Tom found peace and happiness outdoors and woodworking. He was an avid gardener and hunter who loved spending time in nature. You could often find him in his workshop - tinkering or building something for his ever-present honey-do-list.
Tom will be remembered for his quiet strength, quick wit, and deep devotion to his family. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who know him.
