

He was retired from the building construction industry, working as a superintendent. He loved working and walking in the woods, and also traveled extensively. Willard was active in Lions Club and Knights of Columbus, and also involved in St. Mary Catholic Church.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Marian in February, 2005, and ten siblings. He is survived by one son, David Davidson-Methot; brother, Arnold (Geraldine) Methot; sister-in-law, Edith Methot; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25 , 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 157 High Street, Williamston, MI with the Rev. Peter J. Clark officiating. Visitation for Mr. Methot will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle Street, Williamston from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 24. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.
The Rite of Committal will be held at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Williamston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 157 High St., Williamston, MI 48895. On line condolences may be made at www.grwilliamston.com.
